Introduction

Straw Hat Labs ("we", "us", or "our") operates the PilPlay mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use PilPlay.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. PilPlay is designed to work entirely offline, and we have built it with a privacy-first approach.

Information We Collect

PilPlay does not collect any personal data. All game data, scores, statistics, and player profiles are stored locally on your device and are never transmitted to our servers or any third party.

Specifically, we do not collect:

• Names, email addresses, or contact information
• Location data
• Device identifiers or advertising IDs
• Usage analytics or behavioral data
• Game scores or statistics
• Any other personal information

Local Data Storage

PilPlay stores all your game data, player profiles, and statistics locally on your device. This data is not accessible to us and is not synced to any cloud service by default. If you delete the App, this data will be permanently removed from your device.

Account Creation and Data Sync

PilPlay does not require an account to use. All features work fully without signing up. In the future, we may offer optional account creation that enables syncing your game data to our servers — for example, to back up your data or access it across multiple devices.

Your data will never be synced to our servers unless you explicitly create an account and consent to syncing. If you choose to create an account, we will clearly explain what data is synced and how it is stored at the time of sign-up. You will be able to use PilPlay without an account and without any data leaving your device but some features might be disabled.

Apple App Store

PilPlay is distributed through the Apple App Store. Apple may collect certain data in accordance with their own privacy policy, including but not limited to crash reports, app usage statistics, and purchase data. This data collection is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy and is outside of our control.

In-App Purchases

PilPlay may offer in-app purchases in the future, processed entirely through Apple's StoreKit framework. We do not process any payment information directly. All purchase transactions are handled by Apple in accordance with their terms and privacy practices.

Children's Privacy

PilPlay does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. Since we do not collect any personal data from any user, no special provisions for children's data are necessary.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
